Introduction
Well, I've had the big chop and I'm now totally natural. Still not comfortable wearing the TWA to work but all that is about to change as I'll be joining the sisterlockhood on April 25th! Yay!! I've got my sample locks in and can't wait!!!
How long have you been on your natural journey and how do you currently wear your hair?
Been in transition since November 2007. In braids with extensions.
Are you transitioning from chemically overprocessed hair to natural hair?
Yes.
Do you have sisterlocks? if yes, how long have you had your sisterlocks?
No, not yet. Hope to though.
What would you like to learn from attending these meetups?
How to maintain and care for my hair. More about the experiences of those who have natural hair and sisterlocks. What i can expect with sisterlocks and best ideas on consultants
What one piece of advice would you give to a prospective natural hair convert?
Be sure you can manage before you make the decision. Have a clear picture of what you intend to achieve and the reason why you are going natural.
